The Qatar Calendar House announced that, according to accurate astronomical calculations conducted by specialists, Monday, (May 2, 2022), will be the start of the month of Shawwal and the first day of Eid al-Fitr for this year, and that Sunday, May 1, 2022 AD, completes the holy month of Ramadan, 1443 AH.
本年度肖瓦尔月（回历10月）开始的法定决定权依然取决于卡塔尔捐赠和伊斯兰事务部新月观察委员会。The legal decision on the start of the month of Shawwal for this year remains within the jurisdiction of the Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the State of Qatar.
